Our intent in designing this new head office building for a company heavily involved in photovoltaic and sustainable energy generation fields was to use the building itself as a showcase of these and other sustainable technologies. 

To that end the design utilises extensive use of daylight  and passive solar heating, natural stack ventilation and cooling, photovoltaic power generation, rainwater collection and storage, low embodied energy long span timber structural members and site re-vegetation to make it an exemplar of sustainable design.
