The Department of Health and Human Services needed assistance to help them determine the feasibility of accommodating the state administration of Cancer Screening and Control Services and the clinic for BreastScreen Tasmania on the 4th floor of the MBF building at 25 Argyle Street Hobart. This complex project required an appreciation of the physical and emotional needs of women undertaking breast screening but still provide a pleasant and efficient work environment for their highly trained professional and administrative staff. The project was designed and constructed in 7 months, at a cost in the order of $ 825,000.
