Our

From the starting point of a brief for spaces that would “support a life of everyday pleasure and satisfaction” a work has been created that transforms a house no longer meeting the clients’ functional expectations into one that provides delight in the minutiae of everyday living.

Furthermore, in a neighbourhood where many houses fail current expectations of functionality, we challenged ourselves to re-invent such a house in an exemplary way as a model for how suburban fabric could be re-invigorated without losing its distinctive character.

This project was featured in The Age ‘Special Effects’ architecture feature August 2008
